The results of investigations that are undertaken e.g. blood tests, smears, x-rays etc. will only be given to the patient (unless we have the patient’s consent to release the information to a designated person). It is the patients responsibility to phone and find out the test results by telephoning the Practice on Tuesday or Friday between 11am to 12pm on 0121 555 5635. Please allow 10 working days for test results to be received.
Most abnormal test results that need further action, either the Practice will ring and notify the patient or if telephone number is incorrect then the Practice will write to the patient.
