He is available for consultations on Tuesdays and Thursdays. He has many years of NHS experience.
Nurse
Female nurse is available on Fridays, conducting smears, baby immunisations and other nursing duties.
Pharmacist Prescriber
Mr. Kulvinder Tanday (Male)
He has a specialist interest in diabetes and works on Tuesdays.
Health Care Assistant
Asha Bano (Female)
Asha is available for consultations on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Areas of work include new patient health checks, wound dressings, BP review, asthma review, diet and lifestyle advice. Languages Spoken: Hindi and basic Punjabi.
Social Prescriber
She is available on Tuesday afternoons and speaks various languages including English, Hindi, Punjabi. She supports patients who are high risk clinically, elderly, socially isolated, or have social, financial, or housing problems and signposts them to various services as appropriate.
First Contact Physiotherapist
An experienced senior physiotherapist who specialises in musculoskeletal problems and is available for consultation on Wednesday mornings.
Mental Health Practitioner
He is available on Friday mornings to assist with anyone struggling with their mental health. He will see new patients and follow up existing patients.
Practice Staff
The practice manager is Brenda Chambers who is responsible for the day-to-day running of the practice.
The reception staff has a wide range of duties including arranging appointments, answering telephone calls, dealing with repeat prescriptions, data entry, answering copious and varied questions and offering help and assistance. The Health Visiting Service
Our Health Visiting service is delivered by specialist skill mix teams who promote the health and wellbeing of families with children under the age of 5. The service seeks to promote healthy lifestyles by addressing physical, psychological and mental well-being.
District Nursing Team
District Nurses visits patients of all ages in their homes. They assess needs, give information, provide counselling and carry out appropriate nursing care. You will usually be referred to the District Nurse by the hospital or the surgery.
