Important: Not well? Want to be seen quickly?
Receptionists may ask a few questions to help navigate you to the best person to help you.
They won’t try to diagnose your problem, but may need to tell them little bit about why you are calling.

Interpreter
If you require an interpreter and do not wish a member of your family to translate for you then the surgery can arrange for an interpreter but you will need to request this at the time you make your appointment.
Telephone Advice
If you have a problem that you feel can be managed over the telephone by speaking to the doctor, your contact details will be taken down by the receptionist and a doctor will ring you back as soon as they are able to.
Home Visits
A home visit will be made when you are too ill to attend the surgery. All home visit requests must be received by 11.00am except in an emergency. Your request will usually be taken as a telephone consultation and the doctor will call you to assess that the visit is necessary.
